For those of you who aren’t paying attention, the area is growing. The growth is evidenced by the master plan of the Charlottesville/Albemarle regional airport . Perk up, people! Our quaint little five-gate airport is maturing. Larger planes, more flights and more make this more of an option nowadays.

Some improvements scheduled to take place before the plan?s next review in 10 years include construction of new hangars and expansion of current ones, a new snow/maintenance building and a multi-level parking deck for customers, among other enhancements.
The runways are being expanded as well as the facilities … Dulles here we come!
