I went to my daughter’s soccer tryouts yesterday and evaluated many of the girls competing for spots for this autumn’s season. The stress we put on our kids is incredible. Many of the kids had obviously never tried out before and were transparently nervous. Then there were those who clearly would be playing soccer for many years to come. Soccer is a brilliant breeding ground for success, leadership and failure. Just like life.
