Green Parade of Homes

Looking for something to do this weekend?

Check out the EarthCraft House Parade of Homes. From their release –

Sensibly Built for the Environment
An innovative new green building program that works with home builders to construct resource and energy efficient homes that lessen the impact on the environment.

I have written about the prospects of building environmentally friendly homes before, and think that eventually a critical mass will show itself. We just need to get people talking first. This Parade is an excellent sign. Read the fulll press release and directions below. Kudos to the Blue Ridge Home Builders Association, The Virginia Sustainable Building Network, The Daily Progress and Dominion Virginia Power for supporting and sponsoring this.
