I’ve seen homes with back yard views like that, but the views were of the L.A. basin. I’m going to guess the Architect who designed this (or the owner who commissioned it) was influenced by some of those.
And yeah, it’s a great picture.

Sure does. Most residents up there use Verizon’s DSL. I should also note that particular picture was taken by the owner.
