    What happen’s when all of this residential development causes taxes to go so high that it’s even more expensive to live here? If VDOT is in such bad financial shape now, won’t our traffic get even worse with the estimated 18,000 new households?

    I don’t disagree – that is why, in my opinion, when we think of “transportation,” we should be thinking about “transit” as well as roads.
