If you want honest advice about your home, don’t listen to the people who are trying to make a living selling them

Thanks, NAR.

Next week I am going to post my agenda, the foundation of which is based on a goal of being the credible source of information about real estate in the Charlottesville region.

About Jim Duncan

A Charlottesville Realtor who tries to stay on the bleeding/cutting/functional edge of technology and real estate trends. I have been selling real estate for the past 10 years, lived in C'Ville for twenty+ and am married to one of few Charlottesville natives left.

I don’t know what’s more painful how right he is, or how annoying he is in presenting his point of view. It’s like Pauly Shore does NAR attack ads.

I think it’s important to note that the rise and fall of the real estate market is flamed by the media. It won’t get better till the media says it will and NAR assuming that they have as much influence as the media was foolish.

Local practitioners should have a good handle on what’s going on in their local market. I don’t care what the “global market” folks say, real estate is local.

    Matthew –

You are absolutely right. I hate that such a nice guy is deliberately skewering himself like this.
