A very brief market update in advance of today’s time on WINA’s Charlottesville-Right Now! … more detailed analysis to come in the coming days and weeks.

Year over year, sales volume is down between about twenty-eight percent in Albemarle and Charlottesville.

- January sales in the City of Charlottesville – down 64%

- February sales in the City of Charlottesville – up 16%

- January sales in the County of Albemarle – down 20%

- February sales in the County of Albemarle – up 33%

Jim, Please break this down into houses, condos, townhouses? Interested in how many houses have sold. I get the feeling that most of the vocal buyers on this blog are interested in single-family homes. Great discussion.
