Hi Jim

Post some more PDFs or photos of the Signs and Riders - can't really comment more until I can see what it looks like if I were looking at the signs.

I think it's terrific - bloodhoundblog on steroids. I'd be interested in a straight shot so I can check legibility.

VERY Green - looks like you have everything you need on the sign and don't have to deal with brochure boxes.

Great signs Jim...love it. A few questions: How much do they cost? Is it a local vendor, or something Realtors all over the US could use? Do you have any local signage rules you have to comply with in your geography (we do in Orange County...VERY strict about size, # of colors, etc, and it can vary by neighborhood).

Thanks for leading the charge! It certainly looks much better than "old school".

[...] Downtownenvy’s comment the other day hit the nail on the head (bolding mine): I like this! Not only do you get a price on the property without stopping the car, but this sign is actually more about the property for sale than the agency representing it. That’s refreshing. I would love it if I were a seller. [...]

Jim -

Thanks. These are absolutely a work in process. The next ones will be better, and then the next ones after that ... I'm interested to see what problems/flaws we find in the coming days and weeks.

I'm thinking we're going to have to address our area's occasionally windy conditions ...

Great looking signs.

I started using them about 6 months ago after seeing one of Greg's

Mine are the same size as a standard yard sign and printed on 4 mm coroplast (sort of a corrugated plastic material) and they look nice also. My sellers are impressed to have the only yard signs in the neighborhood featuring their house on them.

Still sort of a work in progress.

Lakewod -

Thanks for the comment. Each sign is in fact personalized for each house. While a bit expensive, they are worth it because they represent the house better and our brokerage as well.

Wow...those signs look great, but I am a little confused...are they individualized for each house? If so, that seems like a lot of money per sign. On the other hand, if they are not, won't people think they are being misled when they look at the signs? You said be honest and blunt.

New. Different. Informative. Transparent. Clean. Professional.
When working with a large number of homes for sale might become challenging to manage. Great way of taking a concept that has existed before and pushing it to a very professional level.

Michael -

Turnaround should be less than 48 hours once we get the system down just right, and my website will be much more prominently displayed on the next generation.

Sean - heavy gauge metal with a sort of rubberized laminate. Sadly it's not green (yet, that I know of) but we won't be throwing them away. I'm thinking that we may be able to re-use them.

Sasha - they are in fact double-sided, and I think we could even do different pictures on each side.

Thanks, everyone. As I said, it's a first run and we expect they'll just get better.

I think they look good. I am surprised that your contact info (esp your website) isn't more prominently displayed and I wonder long term about cost and how quickly you can turn around a sign once you have it listed
