The Daily Show on the Foreclosure Crisis

The John Stewart video is hilarious, but so painfully true at the same time. How could one guy regularly sign 10,000 mortgage loans per month?! Can you even sign that many in any given month, if all you were doing was signing, let along reading the docs? Also, it’s a bit difficult to identify any “trends” in the foreclosure data that you have presented above because the graphs only span 6-12 months, however, it’s clear to see that there is still high variation in the numbers from month to month…maybe suggesting that the REOs are not yet quite settling down?
