Wow, that looks simply gross! Because of the narrow view of the camera, it is hard to see what is really going on here. My guess is that the well is running dry and is bringing up the silt and sediment. I will check back to see your explanation. Just another reason to not skip the home inspection process.

Iron. A tremendous amount of iron in the well.

A treatment system was recommended.
