I learned a tremendous amount from listening to the discussion on Sunday’s Wake-Up Call on WNRN as Kate and Rick discussed nature, interacting with nature, play, roaming, neighborhoods … this post will be expanded with show notes when I make time to listen to it again, but here is my question –

WNRN Radio This Weekend – Nature, Play and Charlottesville Neighborhoods
I’ll be in sidekick mode on WNRN this Sunday … this is a paragraph written by Kate White, the "star" of this weekend’s show. I’ll be adding my input here and there, but I will primarily be discussing some of the neighborhoods in the Charlottesville and Albemarle areas that seem to be most nature-accessible as well as some that are close to parks, hiking and some of the other outstanding nature attractions in the area. Crozet – Grow Downtown, on 250, in Old Trail?
I imagine the debate about how big and whether Crozet should grow will never end.
Living in Crozet as I do, I look forward to some of the growth, but really wish that infrastructure would be built to go along with the growth. What good are having walkable destinations without sidewalks and bicycle paths on which to travel?… Continue reading…
