“I hired Jim to sell my Charlottesville condo. I was a UVA Grad Student who relocated outside the Charlottesville area about one year prior to my decision to sell. Being located several hours away and working extremely long hours post-grad school, I was seeking a real estate agent that was able to communicate principally over the phone and via email. Jim demonstrated his knowledge of the Charlottesville real estate market as well as his technical savvy with his blog and suggested how he would market the condo.
Throughout the transaction, Jim stayed in touch, periodically updating me on buyers questions and concerns. Once a willing and able buyer presented a good offer, he “worked” the transaction through to the finish line by suggesting local repair persons to fix what we deemed as minor repairs and granted the repair people access to the property to get the work completed. In short, Jim was my eyes and ears on the ground. I would not have been able to get this done on my own, nor do I have confidence there are many agents that would have “worked” this deal the way he did. One other point of note, I had not, nor have I ever, met Jim face to face. Again, ALL of our communications were made via telephone, email and fax. In summary, Jim is a professional who knows his job and gets it done. I feel comfortable recommending Jim to local and out of town buyers and sellers who may be in a similar position. I would use Jim again if I am ever in a position to come back to the paradise of Charlottesville. Thanks again Jim!!”
