Soccer season!

It is soccer season again. I am coaching my daughter’s U-12 team again and playing as often as possible myself. Our area is truly lucky to have such wonderful soccer fields all around Charlottesville and Albemarle.

Coaching takes up an awful lot of time – more than many people realize. Proper preparation for practices takes a great deal of time. Being unprepared in the face of thirteen 11 and 12-year-olds is a recipe for frustration and disaster. My kids will be young once, and this is my opportunity to influence them.

My area has great fields too,
I just returned from soccer and am exhausted. However my goalie decided to “retire”.
He came up and started playing with my strikers. Now I may not be a good soccer
player but COME ON! I think this is just wrong. Also other members from my team
pulled down their shorts and started to moon everyone with their underwhere.
    What can I do?

Amazing. You seem to be a well rounded person. A realtor, concerned and informed citizen and father. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, feelings and opinions, both personal and professional with all of us.

My co-workers and I enjoy reading your blog.
