Gen Yers

If you thought blogs weren’t an important and viable tool, read this from Forrester Research – 24% of Gen Yers read blogs. (Hat tip: Steve Rubel)

Sure, Gen Yers might not have the same money now that the baby boomers have, but they will. Planning and building business for the future starts now. Ignore this trend at your peril.

Not only do we read blogs, but we write a lot of ’em, too. (Though I’m baffled by Forrester’s assertion that Gen Yers are 26 and under. BS — the oldest of us are starting to turn 30, though I’m a couple of years away from that.) Many of us now have more disposable income than baby boomers, what with no kids yet, and that’s only going to increase for the next few years.

I couldn’t agree more. now is the time to build the relationships and trust that will hopefully carry on for many years to come.
