Today’s radio appearance – on the Charlottesville real estate market

My second foray into live radio … the first was last year about this time.

Today I stumbled a bit, I fumbled a bit, but ultimately I think I did a pretty good job. It was fun, and I hope I didn’t sound too much like a fool. If anybody has any follow up questions, please let me know.

We touched on a lot of information in a very short period of time – radio moves so fast!

This is the kind of thing I could see myself doing on a regular basis.

The podcast is here at the Charlottesville Podcasting Network. Thanks so much to Sean for putting it up so quickly. Real estate, perhaps more than any other business is about having the right relationships – be they with home inspectors, attorneys or the media – and I am grateful for this one.

Great job Jim – we’re working on something similar here right now and I’m encouraged to see that it’s something that has been working for you. Thanks for posting …

Thanks, Jeremy. It was an invitation somewhat out of the blue, but really I think a result of the writing I have done for so long as well as the relationships I have developed through this blog.

Without the blog and the resulting track record, I wouldn’t have had the requisite trust that precipitated the invite.

Don’t tell anybody, but I think that being invited to do a news/opinion show is much more effective and trust-inducing that buying ad time. 🙂 And building a reputation based on trust is what I have been working toward for so many years.

    Baby steps.
