Nest’s New Signs

More to come …

New-Signs.JPG

Feel free to see them for yourself – I’m holding an open house today from noon to four and tomorrow from three to five.

Feedback – candid, blunt – welcomed. This is our first run; they will improve.

I really like them! As prices change will you be switching in new riders each time or are numbers interchangeable? I love the interior photos. I assume they are double-sided?

What’s not to love? They look great and I am happy to see “single property signs” spreading, I think they are one of the best services you can bring to the seller.

really impressed with this. love how it’s modular (top and bottom are on each sign, the big portion goes with each house). brilliant. well done!

Talk about transparency! That is awesome and I think the gen. public will love it. If the house isn’t what they’re looking for, then “no harm, no foul” and no one wasted anyone’s time.

Will it be a company policy that regardless of the homes condition that interior photos will be displayed on the sign? I love that it will force the agent to take clear, quality photos – one of the easiest ways to spot a lazy agent.

What are they made of? Are they some sort of “green” material that can be recycled?

Eye-catching and very different. My first impression is very positive. Well done Jim and Nest Team.

I like this! Not only do you get a price on the property without stopping the car, but this sign is actually more about the property for sale than the agency representing it. That’s refreshing. I would love it if I were a seller.

I love it. Unique-doesn’t look like every other firm. I really like the custom information-I have never seen one before and what a great way to share information, hook someone driving by, and even share a great feature that may not otherwise be visible.

I think they look good. I am surprised that your contact info (esp your website) isn’t more prominently displayed and I wonder long term about cost and how quickly you can turn around a sign once you have it listed

    Michael –

Turnaround should be less than 48 hours once we get the system down just right, and my website will be much more prominently displayed on the next generation.

Sean – heavy gauge metal with a sort of rubberized laminate. Sadly it’s not green (yet, that I know of) but we won’t be throwing them away. I’m thinking that we may be able to re-use them.

Sasha – they are in fact double-sided, and I think we could even do different pictures on each side.

Thanks, everyone. As I said, it’s a first run and we expect they’ll just get better.

These are terrific! I’ve never had sign envy before! I’ll definitely be watching to see how they develop over time. I think sellers are going to be wild about these!

New. Different. Informative. Transparent. Clean. Professional.
When working with a large number of homes for sale might become challenging to manage. Great way of taking a concept that has existed before and pushing it to a very professional level.

Wow…those signs look great, but I am a little confused…are they individualized for each house? If so, that seems like a lot of money per sign. On the other hand, if they are not, won’t people think they are being misled when they look at the signs? You said be honest and blunt.

    Lakewod –

Thanks for the comment. Each sign is in fact personalized for each house. While a bit expensive, they are worth it because they represent the house better and our brokerage as well.

    Great looking signs.

I started using them about 6 months ago after seeing one of Greg’s

Mine are the same size as a standard yard sign and printed on 4 mm coroplast (sort of a corrugated plastic material) and they look nice also. My sellers are impressed to have the only yard signs in the neighborhood featuring their house on them.

Still sort of a work in progress.

    Jim –

Thanks. These are absolutely a work in process. The next ones will be better, and then the next ones after that … I’m interested to see what problems/flaws we find in the coming days and weeks.

I’m thinking we’re going to have to address our area’s occasionally windy conditions …

Jim – Wondered how long it would take to make its way from BHB (Phoenix) to the Commonwealth.

Thanks for leading the charge! It certainly looks much better than “old school”.

Great signs Jim…love it. A few questions: How much do they cost? Is it a local vendor, or something Realtors all over the US could use? Do you have any local signage rules you have to comply with in your geography (we do in Orange County…VERY strict about size, # of colors, etc, and it can vary by neighborhood).

I think it’s terrific – bloodhoundblog on steroids. I’d be interested in a straight shot so I can check legibility.

VERY Green – looks like you have everything you need on the sign and don’t have to deal with brochure boxes.

    Hi Jim

Post some more PDFs or photos of the Signs and Riders – can’t really comment more until I can see what it looks like if I were looking at the signs.
