HOA Docs Have some Interesting Things

Saw this story today, “EL DORADO HILLS — An El Dorado Hills subdivision still has a “whites only” occupancy rule on the books.”

And remembered (I wrote about this in 2012) this clause from a Charlottesville neighborhood:

No Greeks Allowed
No Greeks Allowed

This particular document was written in 1972. Nineteen. Seventy. Two!

And in 1992 the neighborhood said no, that’s bad.

Good job, HOA
Good job, HOA

Also, I think they foresaw AirBnB.

No AirBnb?
No AirBnb?

Always read HOA rules and regulations; this is from another Charlottesville area HOA:

All toys, bicycles, tricycles, motorcycles, mopeds, and such other similar items located on a Lot or adjacent streets shall be removed each evening to an area not exposed to view from any other Lot or street.
