First things first – “Charlottesville” generally means “the Charlottesville area” – ranging from “Charlottesville/Albemarle” to “Charlottesville, Albemarle and the surrounding counties – Charlottesville, Albemarle, Fluvanna, Green, Louisa Nelson Counties.
NGIC -the National Grounds Intelligence Center – is located on Boulders Road in the “29 North” area. The North Fork Research Park is located .8 miles south on 29, still in the “29 North” area. Â Both are located north of Airport Road and the Hollymead Town Center.
