Eminent Domain is something that affects all of us. The government ought not
have the right to steal one’s property rights for the “greater good” – what a hollow
argument.
From the above link –
“The issue being argued Tuesday before the
U.S. Supreme Court is whether a city can condemn private property and transfer
it to another private owner for economic development
purposes.”
Seriously, what cogent
argument can be made in favor
of allowing the government to do
this?
