Albemarle County Board of Supervisors’ about to get (more) Interesting

Lindsay Dorrier won’t be running for reelection (no longer available).

Supervisor Ann H. Mallek, a Democrat, announced earlier this year that she would run for re-election in November. Republican Supervisor Kenneth C. Boyd’s term ends this year, but he has not announced whether he’ll seek re-election. Supervisors Dennis S. Rooker, Duane Snow and Rodney S. Thomas have terms extending beyond 2011.

I hate that at this level of politics, party affiliations matter. But they do.

Pay attention, folks. These elections are important.
