After nearly 50 years
many years, John Warner Parkway, née the Meadowcreek Parkway, finally opened, overpass and all. And it’s sweet.
I first wrote about the Meadowcreek Parkway way back in early 2005, in the second month of this blog’s life.
Well, it’s open, and, once they figure out the timing of the lights at McIntire and 250, it’ll be a beautiful thing.
Bonus: the stretch of Rio Road from Dunlora to 250 is probably going to be a whole lot less busy.
Double bonus: there are bike lanes from Rio Road into the City.
– What if … the Meadowcreek Parkway didn’t exist? (from 2008)
