Another Hundred-Thousand Dollar Price reduction

Three days ago it was this foreclosure in Crozet.

This time in the Spring Creek development in Louisa – from $425,900 to $325,000.

We're sorry, but it seems that we're having some problems loading MLS # 472145 from our database. Please check back soon.

Spring Creek was (and is) a destination for those relocating to Charlottesville who want larger homes in a golf course community, but with the reasonable proximity to Charlottesville, the NGIC/DIA facility on 29 North as well as Richmond/Short Pump.

I have a feeling that there will be some strategic defaults here.

I don’t know how great it would be to live in Louisa, but they do have a sweet new Super Wal-Mart right there.
Considering it’s 8 days after the Snowpocalypse and on my street you still have to drive into a snowbank to let oncoming cars pass, I’m not too pleased with what I’m getting for my City taxes.
95 cents on $100 of assessed value for this?
For this and many other reasons I’m considering moving out of the City, either to Alb. or somewhere else- maybe Spring Creek!

Just wait until next month when City (and others’) assessments come out …
