A Visitor From Texas sums Up Buyer/Seller Tensions

Poking around in my search analytics again reveals this gem:

“Home buyers who want everything their way”

Not all buyers do, but it’s certainly a common perception.

… and the agents who are incapable of exerting any influence on the perception that this is reasonable.

Hit send a little too quickly and fear that the previous comment came off as curt – which I would like to think is pretty far from accurate…

Just trying to say that it is our job to put the media hype into perspective, reminding our folks that all markets are local and that any take that they see on the news is likely sandwiched between stories of rape and murder. It’s the media’s job to create strife, and if we realize this and help educate our clients about the way it really works – how to create a positive flavor in the experience, we are ahead of the game.

We also prove ourselves to be more trustworthy than the agent that is afraid to keep it real for fear of losing a sale; in reality, this tack keeps the best coming back transaction after transaction, and referring other reasonable and awesome folks our way. And this makes our job much more fun!

    That’s what I meant. 🙂
