I had the opportunity to visit a client the other
day at his place of employment. On the desk, I saw a “request for
vacation/personal time off,” waiting for
approval.

…True, my next “paycheck”
may be uncertain, but I am beholden only to my family and my unmitigated desire
for success.

Being self-employed is terrifying at times.
However, the rewards are great. I had the opportunity to visit a client the
other day at his place of employment. On the desk, I saw a “request for
vacation/personal time off,” waiting for approval.

Seeing that was so gratifying, as I
never have to fill one of those out again. When I want time off, I take it. When
I want to attend my daughter’s soccer games (I have to go – I’m the coach!), I
do.

True, my next “paycheck” may be
uncertain, but I am beholden only to my family and my unmitigated desire for
success.
