Crozet’s Newest Front Porches

Glenbrook — formally Glenbrook at Foothill Crossing — is the new-construction story in Crozet. The first homes went up in 2019, and the neighborhood is still being built today, the most recent residential phase within the larger Foothill Crossing development. The pitch leans modern and “earth-friendly”: Energy Star construction, recycled materials, modern-farmhouse façades with stone accents, and Blue Ridge views, with a trail link to Crozet Park and a future trail planned into downtown.

The trade-off is the one that comes with any new subdivision: small lots, active construction, and a neighborhood still finding its shape — in exchange for a brand-new, efficient home minutes from Crozet’s amenities.

What It’s Like to Live Here

Architecture: Modern farmhouse with stone accents — single-family homes, low-maintenance villas, and townhomes, marketed on energy efficiency and recycled materials.

The Walk: Small lots (roughly 0.11–0.18 acre, with some townhome lots much smaller), playgrounds, firepits, and trails, including a link to Crozet Park and a planned future trail into downtown.

The Vibe: New and still forming. The appeal is brand-new, efficient construction near Crozet’s core; the current drawback is ongoing building activity and compact lots.

By the Numbers

Essentially flat year over year (a difference of $888), and a stable read at a reasonable sample size. These figures are Glenbrook at Foothill Crossing only; the separate Glenbrook at Parkside phase is not included.
