Blogging about Listings, Electronic Signatures and More Changes to the VAR Form

This post is likely only interesting to those who are actively selling, thinking about selling, buying or thinking about buying a home and using a Realtor.

Oh, what fun.

If your house is for sale (in Charlottesville) do you want prospective buyers and others writing about your home? Now you may have some say in the matter, thanks to this new listing agreement.

Commenting about homes for sale isn’t new; FranklyMLS has been doing it for years.

Read about all the changes at VARBuzz. Read the listing agreement for yourself.

Also, electronic signatures may be used, which is mighty redundant as they have been legal since 2000, but it’s a step in the right direction. Now, if we could just get the troglodyte lenders to get with the program.

I always advise to opt out of AVM and internet comments. Never seen value in it, and the anonymous commenting is ridiculously snarkey.
