Albemarle County BoS Candidate Forum this Monday

Mark your calendar! This Monday, 10 October at 7pm, the candidates for the Jack Jouett seat of the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors will be at a forum sponsored by the Free Enterprise Forum.

Dennis Rooker (archived: 2024) and Christian Schoenwald (archived: 2025) present different ideas as to how the county should grow and develop. Find the time to listen to the podcast of the previous forum. Decide whether you want to continue to grow the way we have been, or whether we need to grow more wisely.

Map to the school is here. As always, get involved and learn about the candidates before you vote. Start here (no longer available).

The BoS’ decisions on land use and growth policies directly affect how we all live, whether we live in the contested districts or not.
