Some are “inside baseball” stuff others are not, all are decidedly Charlottesville*. As a matter of fact, I had lunch on the Corner last week. ** why the asterisks? Because when folks refer to “Charlottesville” they typically are referring to “the Charlottesville area” – meaning Charlottesville and Albemarle, and often Nelson, sometimes Greene, frequently Fluvanna and sometimes Louisa. I guess that’s a “local thing to know” too.
